Location and CampusThe College is located at 270 Mohegan Avenue, New London. Providence, Hartford, and New Haven can be reached in less than an hour; New York and Boston are approximately two hours away by car. Situated on the scenic Connecticut coastline, the College offers one of the most beautiful campuses in New England, with granite and limestone buildings constructed in the Classical and neo-Gothic styles. The campus is situated within the Connecticut College Arboretum, which encompasses 750 acres of preserved open space. The College green commands dramatic views of Long Island Sound and downtown New London. The College is just minutes away from beaches, nature preserves, major concert venues, coffeehouses, and bookstores. Connecticut College is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Watson Foundation List, the Annapolis Group and the NESCAC conference.
