Over the last ten years, the University of Maryland hasn't just come into its own, it's zoomed into its own. In 1990, we had just one program qualify for a top-25 ranking. Today, we have 61 programs. Our faculty now includes six Pulitzer Prize winners, a Nobel Prize winner, and scores of Fulbright scholars. Today, our students rank right up there with those at the University of Michigan and North Carolina. Every day, we're out there collaborating on major research initiatives.
