From C.V. to RésuméErin Keay (a pseudonym) is considering careers in science journalism, public relations, and industrial research. Her C.V. is fairly typical for a science graduate student (she is a Ph.D. candidate in neuroscience), but it's unusual in the number of refereed publications. Here is her C.V. before revision.Note: Some formatting (i.e. the spacing of headings, line breaks, and dates) may not be accurately respresented due to screen-width limitations.

| Research Interests: | |
| My primary research interests are nociceptive transmission and
neuropharmacological mechanisms for antinociception. My thesis research
evaluated the ability of marijuana-like drugs to dampen the behavioral and
spinal hypersensitivity triggered by peripheral injury. A future goal is to
incorporate intracellular recording, and molecular techniques to understand the
mechanisms that produce chronic pain states and how to pharmacologically
intervene. | |
